If you’re a lefty, you can’t comfortably shoot a right-handed X95, and vice versa. Using some XM855 I had mixed results. The covers are extremely well integrated with the rest of the stock with a hand stop on the bottom rail. If you would like to lose about 6” from the OAL of your rifle for increased maneuverability, the X95 may fit the bill. I try to keep the site family-friendly and open to all gun owners. For the purposes of using a long arm as a DEFENSIVE tool, two to three minutes of angle seems to me perfectly acceptable: if one finds themselves shooting at a human target at more than about 100 yards/meters, they’d better be able to articulate their reasons pretty persuasively.
