Your body movements influence the muzzle more and a bullpup trigger requires more internal movement to operate. It couldn’t be closer to your trigger finger. Observed accuracy from both rifles, roughly 3-4 MOA. So, wrapping up support, you must be more conscious of your movement when shooting a short platform. The X95 brought a number of refinements to the Tavor platform such as the relocation of the magazine release, the ability to change the grip, better trigger. The X95’s trigger connects to its trigger pack through an arm, that connects to a long transfer bar (another arm), that connects to the Kronk lever (another arm, “pull the lever, Kronk”) which then moves the sear and releases the hammer in an otherwise normal sear/hammer/disconnector trigger set up. Apparently they're trying to fix that with the Tavor 7. Small distance means small movements translate more. it is the sub machine gun version so I will like to see the carbine version in action. Ergo, my findings are consistent with what others have been reporting: the X95 is well within the 4 MOA expected of a milspec rifle, but at least in its stock configuration it’s definitely not a precision rifle. This is why even with the trigger pack gone (which removes the equivalent spring that returns an AR trigger to its forward position) the X95 trigger still has tension and you can squeeze it. The civilian Tavor is produced in Pennsylvania and will cost about the same as a higher end AR-15. The American idea of rifle-craft is based heavily around individual accuracy and the ability of the shooter to manipulate the gun quickly, but this is not necessarily the idea the X95 was built around. Our first realization was that the standard rifle rest was not designed for bullpups, and the only way the Tavor would fit in the rest was on an awkward cant, which made the process a little fiddly. Deal killer for me. The further forward you can put a control/support point for a rifle the more detailed and minute your body movements will be in influencing the specific direction of the muzzle. As much as I'd love it to perform that way, the X95 was built from the ground up for CQB, therefore 2-3MOA acceptable. If the bipod is right next to you then, even as it’s providing you an extra control point on the ground or bench, it’s still allowing more movement of the muzzle based upon how your breathing and natural movements are changing the position of your shoulders and the rifle stock that is braced into your shoulder. Shooting it from a lead sled with sandbags, he was able to get one 1.5 MOA group with IWI match ammo (which was consistently the flavor the X95 liked best), but his average for that ammo was 1.75 MOA.
